Kara Eastman’s 2020 run for Congress in Omaha’s Second Congressional District as a progressive Democrat was a bid for politics done differently.
One of the key pieces created for Eastman’s campaign was a ballot chaser, in both English and Spanish, used to remind voters to turn in their ballots, a key tactic when COVID-19 upended traditional means of organizing and voter turn-out.
